However, I am still getting slow file transfers ( < 50Kbytes/sec), and am trying to trace this down. One thing which may be related, but I can't fix, is that when I do an LPR, the message "warning: packet driver incorrect, using default search" appears, and the file is sent off and printed. I am using "hardware=packet", and the address and ioaddr are set as per the LPR_MAN.DOC file. TELNET, however, does not give this error message, but may be aided by finding out what I'm doing wrong with LPR.. (???)
