I am looking for a bare bones Amiga 500 (no external drives, no
monitor, no extra memory, etc). Just a working 500. Only willing
to pay $250 for it.

Seems like somebody should know of someone who has a 500 that they
don't use any more and would be willing to get rid of it for that
price.
