They seem to have put out some standards on what it would mean to be a multimedia application. However, the expectation is not to see much for two to three years. Does anyone have info on the Microsoft Multimedia Developers Kit and what the standard that Microsoft is proposing is? Much as we might hate to mention Microsoft (or the 3 letter company), when they decide to do something, they will become a big player in the market (the old "300 pound gorilla" problem). It would be nice to trump them by being compliant with their standard possibly years before they are ().
