Mini Review Message-ID: <382.276ca21a@vger.nsu.edu> Date: 17 Dec 90 14:46:50 GMT Lines: 38 ABC Monday Night Football.....my first thoughts. I purchased this package for $39 at the local Amiga dealership. This package contains the software and a video tape (I have not looked at the video tape yet). The software is done by Data East. The game is installable on the hard disk and does _not_ kick out the operating system. It does not appear to multitask however. The software comes on three disks and the hard disk installation went without a hitch. I started the game and was pleasantly surprised with the startup graphics. The sound was digitized and was monotone. I believe the quality could have been much better, but I bet the memory constrants caused by the 512k users were probablly considered. Too bad! The football game itself is pretty good. There are no crowd noises but you can hear a scratchy digitized sound of the quarterback calling out. The play feels ok, but it seems a bit difficult to orient yourself when the quarterback is surveying the recievers. I was surprised that the you had to still look at your defense from the offensive perspective. I would have liked the view to change depending on whether I am the offense or the defense. In a brief, it seems like a "ok" program. If you are football addict you will like it enough to want to purchase it. It certainly is a _great_ value if you have a VCR! :-) -mark= +--------+ ================================================== | \/ | Mark D.
