Mini Review Message-ID: <6392@crash.cts.com> Date: 18 Dec 90 18:36:06 GMT Sender: root@crash.cts.com Organization: People-Net [pnet01], El Cajon CA Lines: 26 For the most time I like this game as well, however, I have allready found two mini bugs and the company (at least who they let me talk too :-) ) doesn't seem to have a clue: The game is HD installable and very enjoyable from a HD, it also kicks you back to the CLI or WB when you quit, so although it is not multi-tasking it is still one of the friendlier games to AmigaDos. However, if you install it on your HD, it gives you an ICON for the game. If you run the game from the ICON, it will LOCK-UP when you (not the computer) tries to kick a field goal or extra point. The game must be run from the CLI, as it is done on their distribution disk. To their defense the manual says this, but putting an icon their is pretty misleading. Couldn't they use ICONX or something? The ICON problem is not related to a stack problem, since the ICON is set for a bigger stack than the cli has in their distribution disk. Also, and more or a bug. If you are playing two player, the player in joystick B, automatically swtiches to the HalfBack view, imediately after snaping the BALL, unless you allways plan to pass to your HB, this is a problem.
