   Yes indeed you hit the nail on the head. The WREN-III hard drive that you
mention is indeed autoparking.  When the drive is first powered up, the heads
will move when the platters reach full speed.  When the drive is powerd down
the heads will auotmaticaly park.  The unit has some sort of a mehanical
governer in it to do this.  This is probaly why you get an error message when
you try to do it from software.
