Getting an A3000 compatible version of SKsh out is high on my priority list for the next release. Doing so is complicated by my not having ready access to a 300, but I have received offers from several 3000 owners offering their help in beta testing a new version when it's ready ... hopefully that will be in January. > >Does anyone have any ideas on what I must do to run this from 2.0? > > Its problem is not with 2.0, but with the 68030 and the A3000. As you also mentioned, there seems to be a problem with filename completion. Also, I have some evidence that there is a problem during initialization if preparsed forms of the .skshinit and/or .skshrc files are used, but no confirm- ation on this so far. I'd appreciate it if some people who are having 3000 trouble and are using .pp files would try running without the .pp's, and let me know if that helps matters any. > & after worked, but it doesn't on the A3000 I tried to get Sksh up on. > I actually can get Sksh running just fine on the A3000 after a complicated > sequence, but I'ts too much trouble to really mess with. > > Sure miss it when I work on the A3000... Could you email me the specifics ...? Thanks ...! /kim P.S. Due to some fairly destructive problems with /usr/spool/news here recently, I may well have missed some SKsh related postings over the past week or so. Please email me any bug reports that you may have posted in that time frame. -- UUCP: ked01@juts.ccc.amdahl.com DDD: 408-746-8462 USPS: Amdahl Corp. M/S 249, 1250 E.
