(specifically os sr10.1, MIT X11 release 4 with all patches). After a reasonably long run of xnlock I return to find that all remote xterms and other clients are dead, and that our BIND cannot resolve hostnames: xloads die and xterms are inactive, etc. Taking the network (ie: domain ring) down and immediately up again cures the problem, but of course you've lost all the remote xterms, etc. I do this with: ifconfig dr0 down;ifconfig dr0 up Can anyone offer any reason why this is happening????
