First, does anyone know if the company that supprted and distributed ASCII Express is still in business? I forgot to get the upgrade that included the GS serial port when it was announced several years ago since I had pretty much stopped using AE; kermit did what I needed to do and AE only emulated VT52's. The reason I ask is that the dial-up/login sequence I now find myself using has gotten long enough that I want to go back to using some kind of scripting ability. Kermit's is too primitive: it doesn't allow you to wait for a particular response. AE's was just fine and once connected it could automatically invoke kermit. What other telecommunications programs are there that can do that? (free or shareware best) TMPLee@dockmaster.ncsc.mil
