Grant Delaney writes me in e-mail: [I have been unable to duplicate your problems with Kermit 3.87. What are your settings etc.] The problem with ctrl-s not working some of the time has been fixed. I had xon/xoff flow control set in Kermit; I turned off flow control and the problem disappeared. I haven't had the program simply hang recently; it did happen a number of times before and wouldn't respond to anything, but it hasn't reoccured recently. I'll just let it go as a fluke. The cursor still gets divided in two sometimes when I +++ type a non- printable character. Try it in off-line mode, connected directly to the modem and not to a remote system, and hit esc or some control sequence. Henry -- Henry Throop THROOP@GRIN1.BITNET throoph@jacobs.cs.orst.edu
