Most of it seems to be of the "where can I find sounds" type. I'm looking for sounds. Someone posted a whole bunch of Sun audio files to rec.arts.startrek a while back. After hacking my program for different timing, I played one of the files and found that the quality left a lot to be desired. In other categories, most Mac sounds will be bundled up with StuffIt and BinHex, both of which are unreadable on the II (on 8-bit IIs, anyway) and which have, so far as I know, no UNIX-compatible equivalents. Does anybody know of a source of high-quality, unpacked digitized sounds? If so, leave a message here. (It's hard to believe I hacked the sound player together and have only gotten a couple of uses out of it...:-| ) Scott Alfter-----------------------------_/_---------------------------- / v \ Apple II: Internet: alfter@uns-helios.nevada.edu ( ( the power to be your best!
