For example, there is still the problem with the "close all files" command. This would close all files in all processes regardless of who opened the files. I think that, due to the interest in multitasking on the GS, we should discuss exactly what the 65816 needs to support a decent multiprogramming or multitasking system. Such a discussion would be considerably more positive than the bickering that's going on now. Such a discussion wouldn't be without merit. WDC is currently working on the new generation 65xxx chips and welcomes input from various users. I can post their address sometime (when I'm home on my Mac rather than here at school).
