Keywords: neocept, wordup, fontz Message-ID: <1990Dec17.160744.19837@rodan.acs.syr.edu> Date: 17 Dec 90 16:07:44 GMT Organization: Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY Lines: 12 A while back there was some discussion about the status of Neocept, the makers of WordUp...The concensus was that Neocept had gone out of business. Well, in the December issue of Current Notes, in the STUPDATE article, Frank Sommers states that Neocept announced "'an intermission' and possibly a final curtain call for WordUp". The gist of the story is that Neocept cannot continue to improve their products while providing support...which is why they made arrangements with E.Arthur Brown to distribute the upgrades...and that the future of Neocept and WordUp depends on the future of the ST. I guess we can only wait and see. --Gerry
