Basically due to the court battle between DEC and SI over HSC/SDI&STI patents, SI has settled out of court and agreed to "...the gradual elimination of its current HSC-compatable subsystems, known as the C Series...". I think purchasing SI HSC disk or tape equipment at this time would be risky at best!
