Message-ID: <18552@neptune.inf.ethz.ch> Date: 17 Dec 90 10:20:43 GMT Sender: news@neptune.inf.ethz.ch Reply-To: brandis@inf.ethz.ch (Marc Brandis) Organization: Departement Informatik, ETH, Zurich Lines: 12 Does anybody already have any information about the new XGA graphics standard built in the new IBM PS/2 models. I just know that is has VGA compatibility and a resolution of 1024 * 768. Is the programming model the same as for VGA, except that you have larger planes? Do they provide 8514/A compatibility? Thanks for any information! Marc-Michael Brandis Computer Systems Laboratory, ETH-Zentrum (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) CH-8092 Zurich, Switzerland email: brandis@inf.ethz.ch
