I have a similar problem on our RT (6151-115, AIX 2.2.1). If I rlogin from another machine using a Nixdorf-terminal BA80 (I admit, it behaves very strange in some times), I get the same vi-message. If my colleage does the same using his terminal (same machine, same terminal type) it works fine. First I thought this was due to the different keyboard layouts we have (my one has german layout, the others have english layout), but a few weeks later another colleage ran into the same problem with an english layout keyboard. The most funny thing is: INed never complained about the foreign terminal after I customized its terminal information. Surely I updated the terminfo database before any connection. Maybe you could post a summary. Thanks in advance. -- | Hans Joachim Liesert, Dep.
