Message-ID: Date: 18 Dec 90 22:56:32 GMT Sender: usenet@linus.mitre.org Distribution: comp Organization: The MITRE Corporation Lines: 37 I am trying to learn how to use the long_haul facilites and I'm failing at it. First I understand that I have to get the spooler up and running, but I didn't get that far. I created a long_haul.rc file: 1402 uci12 N:uci12.mitre.org/0 uci11 N:uci11.mitre.org/0 for now the port is the same as the isis ethernet tcp port in the /etc/services file (can I do this ?): isis 1402/tcp # isis and started the spooler (after I started isis), only to get the following error: uci12: spooler -l long_haul.rc ISIS client pid=1872: Error, bad entry in the networks file It's late and my mind is starting to fade. Where oh where did I go wrong ? Thanks, Paul. Paul O.
