Everytime you restart to try out different combos of inits, you reinitialize the heap thus (potentially) fixing the previous problem. I am running with all the inits you mentioned AND suitcase II (version 1.2.6 I think) with no problems BUT, I USED to have problems before using a copy of heapfixer to increase my heap space. Next time it fails, try looking at your system memory under the finder's about box. If you have lots of spare space, this probably is not the problem, if there is very little (or none to be seen), it could be that you need to increase the heap size. I first discovered this by trying out an init called SPY (i think). It shows at the top of your screen all the time how much stack space there is. Everytime, just before a crash, it would approach 0.
