It has an internal HD and an external Jasmine HD. The CPU and the Jasmine are plugged into one of those power strips. If I have the Mac and monitor on but the Jasmine off, choosing Shut Down successfully shuts the Mac and the monitor off. If, however, the Jasmine is running, Shut Down turns off the computer but the monitor remains on until I shut off the Jasmine. ???
