I am interested in developing XCMD's or XFCN's that permit drawing on
cards or backgrounds.  The poor peformance inherent in using the draw tool is
prohibitive.  So far I have not been able to find any mechanisms for
recording the drawing activities in a permanent way.   Does anyone know
if there is any way to get one's hands on bitmaps that actually contain
the background or the card images.
