Once again, the users of this newsgroup have come through
famously!  My naivete re: linking with CompuServe has 
been cured!

A synopsis:

Internet --> CompuServe

send to :   12345.6789@compuserve.com
		 ^
where the numbers are the CompuServe address (note the PERIOD
as opposed to a comma).

In contrast,

CompuServe --> Internet

send to :  INTERNET <userid@usernode.system>
