Message-ID: Date: 20 Dec 90 02:35:51 GMT Sender: news@uflorida.cis.ufl.EDU Distribution: comp.sys.next Organization: UF CIS Department Lines: 19 Hi, So I got a dead Optical Disk now. Workspace Manger asked me if I want to initialize my old OD originally loaded houndreds of Megabyte files. Before I give up to initialize this dead OD, I would like to know if it is possible to recover my files on OD ? Even I initialze this dead OD, will I get a good OD ? BTW, It was dead when the system was hang and no other way to reboot the system except unplug the power cable.
