The default mounted fonts are R, I, B and S on positions 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively. Now I need another font, e.g. Courier. How I can expand the list of fonts to troff? The document says fonts can be mounted or replaced on positions 1, 2, and 3 by using the .fp command. But I tried and the results are not expected. For example, I tried to switch the default fonts R, B, I to, say, positions 3, 1, 2, respectively, but the output still followed the default setting. Thanks for any information. -ping ping@cubmol.bio.columbia.edu
