I'd like to keep the mundane bibliographic information that addbib/refer/... let me keep, as well as some annotation information. The annotation information would be both a textual description of the article and be used to generate a list of articles that cover a particular (set of) topics. I don't really want to write a tool to do this (although I admit that I started to do such a thing...); I'd love to hear about some UNIX or Mac tools that would support this kind of application. Also, I don't know much of anything about BibTeX/..., so if those will fit the bill, tell me where I can get them! Thanks!
