Are any changes to the IBM- supplied SCSI disk driver required to drive either one? Does the IBM- supplied driver determine the physical characteristics of the disks at boot time, i.e., will the driver use the full capacities of any SCSI drives connected on a given SCSI channel? What are the cable length limitations for the IBM external SCSI interface? Any peripherals such 8mm helical-scan tape available from 3rd parties for RS/6000's?
