Better start eating more root vegetables, Root Boy.  System V/386 has
'tapecntl' which does the same thing.

	tapecntl -r
	tapecntl -p
	tapecntl -e

	etc.

Note: for some strange reason not every reseller bundles 'tapecntl' but
it is portable across versions modulo the choice of node names.
