I had contacted Microsoft about the same problem using the IBM 5182 color graphics printer....the driver allowed me to select the color ribbon, but paintbrush would not print in color.... Microsoft stated that Paintbrush will produce color output ONLY on the HP PaintJet or a Color Postscript printer.....Bummer. I can however print text in color using Word for Windows.
