After its great review in Infoworld back in Oct, I purchased a copy (after checking their 60 day moneyback guarantee) and have been evaluating it for use as a Windows development environment. Overall, I've been very impressed, but lots of nagging questions remain - mainly to do with using PKWin on a large project. E.g. Does it get slower? (Speed is reasonable with small progs). How cumbersome do the DLL ties to C become? (Some stuff just has to be done in C, e.g. heavy file manipulation / intensive math). Other questions I should ask? (Being a noviced Windows developer, tho' experienced C programmer). Any comments / suggestions welcomed. I will summarize and repost if there is any interest. If anyone wants more basic info about PKWin, drop me a line. Thanks, Michael Mee, _--_|: Postgrad, Space Studies Dept / : "Proudly Australian University of North Dakota :_.--._/ ... stranded in ND" v
