I was using xfig to draw some diagrams, but noted to my chagrin that there
is a really nasty intermittent bug in it. Ever so often, when I want to
write a PostScript out (i.e from my figure that I created) xfig will
memory fault. Also, sometimes when I'm just starting xfig and click on
"read" and type in a filename as the first command, xfig segfaults.

I'm running V2.0 Protocol V.2.0 Patch Lev. 9.
