I did a port of R4 to the old NeXTs.  It still has problems, some of
them fairly major (like, no sound at all), but it basically works.

If you want the distribution, it can be had by anonymous ftp to
132.206.1.1, in X/XNeXT/distribution.Z.  I'm afraid I don't even have
time to work on it, never mind handle mailing out copies, so uucp-based
people are, I fear, somewhat out of luck unless you know a mail-based
ftp program somewhere.  (I note you are a uunet client; perhaps they
can do someting?)
