Surprisingly he turned on a group of mostly disabled and with Tony convinced a lot of us that a power wheelchair could be a pretty good weapon. I can identify with how you feel But, while I don't agree with those saying accept it I do think you will benefit from Joe's advise. I found that by working with ADAPT and later the Developmental Disabilities Board and now the Dept. of Human Services once again I look forward to each new day. While I find the Independant Living Centers to be much too conservative they and your local Vocational Rehab can be helpful. Look around and find some volunteer work on behalf of the disabled. You are fortunate we thru the ADA will be able to make it much easier on those who come after us.
