[This is from the Spinal Injury Conference]

        I need some instructions on a procedure to load my wheelchair in the 
car behind me.  I have driven a van for 6+ years and do not remember the 
proper procedure to put the chair behind the front seat on a 2-door car.  I 
have tried loading it by putting the rear wheels in first and have had 
moderate success but seem to have a problem getting the pedals past the 
overhead part of the door opening.  
        Any help will be greatly appreciated.
