I don't want to spend a lot of money on the cartridge (about $100). The preamp should have at least 6 high level inputs, and possibly DA converters. I've seen that Marantz, Sony and Yamaha have digital preamps but I have the feeling that they would not be welcomed by the BK :) Separate preamp and DA converter would be out of my budget (< $1000).
