And we have given up trying Try mixing the seeds with the vegetables, rice, etc. If the bird must pick through the healthy stuff to get the seeds, it may learn that it likes soft food. Try mixing vegetables, cheese, beans or greens in Jiffy corn bread batter and baking per directions on box. The bird may like that. Perseverance and creativity are very important in modifying a birds diet and a few attempts (or even 50) may not be enough.
