Last night I got a copy of the EMI compilation "I'ts Christmas" to try an inject some KhrisTmas spirit into my life but unfortunately I am going to have to return it as it seems to be faulty. Anyway, I understand the version of "December Will Be Magic" is referred to as the Winter Snowtime Version. I assume that this was a TV studio production for the Christmas Special show of 1980. I think IED mentioned once that this master was pulled out in error when they were compiling the album. I was quite disappointed with it after hearing and loving the single version on the TWW I disc. I would imagine the visuals help it considerably (someday I'll get my hands on a tape of the special). Fortunately, other songs on the disc make it a worthwhile purchase ($20 for an inferior mix of a single KaTe song is a luxury I can't afford - sorry). Does anyone have anything to add to my recollections? Derek derek@sunstroke.sdsu.edu
