Tuesdays forecast for both EDW and KSC were for low clouds and rain. Edwards was first choice for a Monday landing. The landing went well except for the loss of comm after the deorbit burn. The central control computer at White Sands went down and all TDRS comm and telemetry was lost. It took them about 10 minutes to get a backup computer booted and online. I wonder why they don't keep the backup on hot standby?? This is the second time this happened on this flight. The first time it took 30 minutes to get back online. --GaryM -- Gary Morris Internet: lobster!lescsse!gamorris@menudo.uh.edu Lockheed (LESC), A22 UUCP: lobster!lescsse!gamorris Space Station Freedom NASAmail: gmorris/jsc/nasa Houston, Texas Internet: gmorris@nasamail.nasa.gov
