Having returned from my ground-breaking experiments in astral space, I have confirmed that the brain has an astral parallel port which connects to the soul! Souls are three-dimensional astral constructs which are manufactured in Greenland under the label IPM. Peak performance is 2 FLOPs/sec and 10 IOPs/sec. There is no hardware support for a stack, which I find most distressing. The memory access is associative rather than random-access and is very quick. However, the mean time between associative failures is distressingly high. I have sent away to IPM requesting information on an upgrade, but have received nothing in response. I suspect that some ancient Greeks were right when they claimed the brain was a cooling organ. Will anyone provide financial support should I decide to file a class action lawsuit? --- "It's an insult to be accused of having a soul." -- Marvin Minsky
