CLIPS is more like OPS5 than Lisp.  The new version of CLIPS (5.0) is due
out sometime early in '91.

CLIPS is distributed for the PC or the Mac, but the code is very well
behaved and well written.  In one day, I ported it to a Vax 780, a Sun
3/50, and a Vaxstation 3100.  Pretty impressive.

CLIPS is also very fast.  I recently posted a speed comparison to
comp.ai.shells.
