I saw on 20/20 (I think) about a guy who sent a legal contract to all the main telemarketing companies stating, that he would love to be put on their list, and please call. However, to offset the cost and maintenence of his personal phone system and useage of his time they would be charged a fee of $100 for each call. Acceptance of this contract was by making the first call. Perhaps some scheme like this would work for Lotus Development Corp. Are there any real [ v. virtual :) ] lawyers out there that would volunteer an opinion, and a contract? IMHO this is just another preditory action by the company that believes marketing a better law suit is better than marketing a better product! Please E-mail to me, and I will summarize for the net. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Barry Berg UUCP: barry@tanstaafl.edgar.mn.org -- Too much of the world is run on the theory you don't need road manners if you are a five-ton truck. -- #include -30- {sometimes older ;-) }
