We just got Code Base 4.2. I tried to compile a small example given in EXAMPLES directory with C4TC.BAT ( Batch file for TURBOC) and C4MSC.BAT ( for MSC 5.1 ) but NO ! It does compile but while linking it does not find the basic functions from the library t4.lib(which is in \tc\library directory) like d4use etc.. I have -DTURBO -ml -Ic:\tc\include -Lc:\tc\library .. and some other flags( as given in original batch file for TC). In Integrated eviron. it runs out of memory( I have TURBOC.CFG provided with disk in \tc directory ) I gave up with TC and started with MSC 5.1 with some hopes But Alas! Here also their C4MSC.BAT file is used with proper directories and it too didn't find the d4use() in m4.lib I have used Large model with FP Emulation option( as suggested). I tried the biggest of theirs demo called d4learn.c and wow! It gave **ONLY** 197 linker errors! Now folks i will really appreciate if any soul can guide me about this. Any suggestions anything leading to this damn thing run will be great! Code Base 4.2 is a product of Sequiter Inc. Canada. I am reading comp.database every couple of hours thinking that there is some soul on earth who will post something on this topic ;-(. Thanks Folks! and have a Happy XMas -------------------------------------- Sudhir sudhir@uc.edu OR smahabal@uceng.uc.edu
