There are some software available for Sun machines, like Isofax from the Bristol group, but it doesn't interface the the Unix email software.  We ended up writing
our on software to do it.  We email messages to 'fax' and include the following 
lines in the mail headers: 

	X-fax: 2873299
	X-faxpers: Alex Kowalenko
	X-faxorg: OTC R&D, OTC Ltd.

A process regularly looks for mail messages for fax, and takes the messages, 
strips the header out, extracting information, and constructs a fax header for 
the fax, the sends it to a PC, which inturn faxes it out.
