   I have a Hayes SmartModem 2400, and I have lost my manual, I need
to do a few thigs on my modem, can someone please tell me how to shut
off the Auto-Answer?

   Plus store and save a number in memory.

   If I remember correctly, I need to do a "save" after I change something
if I want it perminate like that, am I correct?
