Sorry if this question has been answered recently, but until now I haven't had to set up a complex configuration. In brief, I need to forward all out-of-node mail to an non-unix, mx-capable smart SMTP mailer, support an MSDOS Waffle UUCP connection with a domain name (xxx.yng.oh.us), ideally without having the outgoing e-mail rewritten with !'s or %'s, and support an alternate domain name (yfn.ysu.edu = youngstown. freenet.edu) without filling the sendmail syslog. We've worked around some of these outside of sendmail (prefixing @xxxx: on outbound mail, for example), but a guide that can help me set this up right is appreciated. Our system is a NCR Tower SysVr3.2, Wollongong TCP with sendmail 5.61/25.
