It looks and sounds to be in working condition, but I need to know the basic configuration of the hard drive Description - Magnetic Peripherals (CDC) PN - 77731603 P# 177461 The defect flag sticker indicates it's got at least 4 heads, and at least 503 cylinders. The interface LOOKS to be ST-506 - at least it uses the same cable set. The small user's manual that was packed with it suggest that the drives are 30Mb, if in fact this is the original drive. I'd greatly appreciate any information anyone could provide on this gear, and for that matter on the Sperry controller board. Is there a reasonably simple way to get from differential SCSI to single ended SCSI? If so I would like to know the capabilities of the controller board as far as supported drive capacities, etc. Thanks in advance for any light shed on this mystery box ....
