I have 3com 3+share network running on these PS/2s and I use ncsa telnet/ftp from the same machine to login to SUN and other machines on the same ethernet. Right now I can not run both of 3com 3+share and ncsa telnet simultaneously on my PS/2. When I boot my PS/2 without 3com 3+share drivers and then run 3c523 packet driver ncsa telnet/ftp works fine. I would like to know if there is any newer packet driver for 3c523 which will allow me run 3+share and ncsa together or am I doing something drastically wrong? Basically as a workstation on the 3com net my config.sys file has all those drivers. My Autoexec.bat runs runminds, netbios, msredir and then I load 3c523 Packet driver with 0x60(packet int. addr); 3(irq #); 0x300(ioaddr); 0xc000(base mem. addr). When the machine boots up it loads every thing fine. after logging into 3com net I try to run ncsa ftp/telnet the machine hangs. The only way to get out is by powering off and on again. My config. tel file has hardware=packet; addr=0(packet driver class for ethernet); ioaddr=0x300 entries. Could some one help? If this has been answered before, my apologies. Have a good holiday season every one... ------- ********************************************************* * PRASHANT V.
