Now I can send and recieve mail at my UUCP site as well as read news. I apparently have some probelms with the DNEWS program though. If I try to post news it runs the postnews program in the background and the program seems to do nothing, I have to send a break to that process to get it back and I can't get it to send any news. Also, I am having kinda wierd results with which groups it reads. The format listing in the docs for the .dnewsrc file is wrong since there is a "y" preceeding all the groups that dnews added itself, so I am afraid to add any groups by hand for fear that I won't get the format right. If anyone could send some suggestions on how to fix up the reader I would appreciate it. Better yet, could someone please mail me a better NewsReader! I heard ARN was good from UUCPPlus but I can't find it anywhere. I have called every PD site I have access to and havent come up with any uucp mail readers :-( I don't have any FTP access. I have all the utilities from the UUCP1.6d program to unpack a binary file mailed to me though. Although some brief directions on how to do it would be nice.
