I was wondering )|whether there are tablets that will allow you to insert a ballpoint )|pen nib inside the stylus so that you can see what you draw on )|a sheet of paper that's sitting on the tablet as well as what's )|on the screen. Oh and of course it must be Amiga compatible... )| )|I seem to recal Tektronix had a tablet like that, but I'm not sure )|if it's compatible with the Amiga. ) ) You should definitely look at the Easyl from ) Anakin. They're located in the Toronto area. As it happens, I'm in the midst of updating the EASYL User's Guide (for the PC -- same tablet, different interface). The EASYL is popular among artists and animators. It is designed to hold both paper and cels (pegs provided), if desired, or you can just use the stylus on the pad itself. There are numerous adjustments for sensitivity, linearity, orientation, etc. Here's Anakin's address and number: Anakin Research Inc. 100 Westmore Drive Unit 11c Rexdale, Ontario M9V 5C3 (416) 744-4246 ) This tablet is also pressure-sensitive... Depending, of course, on the software on the other end :-) I know there's at least one such product for the PC. Phone Anakin for further info. (They're also on BIX and CRS, btw) -- Frank Kolnick, Basis Computer Systems Inc. UUCP: {allegra, linus}!utzoo!mnetor!frank
