Message-ID: <57.27784491@ijcr.fidonet.org> Date: 25 Dec 90 09:19:00 GMT Organization: IJCR.Fidonet.Org: Institute Of Judaic-Christian Research Lines: 27 About your clock dying, I caught a virus about 6 months ago which killed my clock and made it do the same thing. The way to kill it is one of two things: 1)Use "setclock reset" 2)Take out the battery on the clock board and put it back in after about 20 seconds. My battery wouldn't come out (it's soldered to the board), so I shorted the two terminals together (VERY DANGEROUS!!!! Don't do unless you want to risk it!). It scrambled clock RAM. I turned on my machine and setclock found the clock. I set the time and date and no problems since. This may or may not be your problem, but if it is, this should help.
