This is a fine machine, but I am considering the purchase of a new system. I am very loyal to Atari, and would like to get one of their products, but I think the Amiga line has a lot to offer as well. I would drink dirty motor oil before buying a Mac or IBM. I am hoping some kind soul out there in Amigaland could give me a brief and honest summary of the configurations/capabilities/expandability/ price/etc. of the various products in the Amiga line. Feel free to include rumors about future machines, 'cause this purchase can wait if it has to. Thanks a bunch. Hopefully this will provide the info I seek without having to sift through all the Atari TT vs. A3000 vs. NeXT vs. Mac II flame wars that really provide little helpful information. Please respond by e-mail, since this newsgroup gets too much traffic for me to keep up. Happy 1991. John Thaanum thaanuj@prism.cs.orst.edu
