I don't see any reasons, why you should to use the 38400 bps speed, because it is so few situations, where it is useful. JR-Comm is truely lazy, and hard load to the Amiga. It have problems with 38400. Only terminal software that I have seen working 100% OK with 38400 is Azcomm V2.XX. There is support for 38400 bps. But this terminal is only met for transfering files with ZMODEM. There ain't working VT100 or ANSI-emulation. I use this, if I have to transfer files higher speed that 19200 or I have to do something else during the file transfering.
